We've traditionally had a time trial on the
second Friday of the season. However, this year,
we're going to mix things up a little bit and run our
athletes in a scrimmage on Saturday, August 23rd,
instead. This scrimmage will serve as our Time
Trial and help establish who will be running Varsity in
our first meet.
Who:
All members of the cross country team who have met the
nine practice rule.
Where: At Palmer
Lake, in the city of Palmer Lake (click
here for the map)
When:
Saturday, August 23rd at 8:00 A.M.
Course: 5,000 meters or
5K
Transportation: Two buses will leave Coronado
High School at 6:30 and return around somewhere around
10:00. Talk to one of the coaches if you are
planning alternative transportation.
What to Bring: Water, sunscreen, insect
repellant, warm-ups and your need running gear.
