The meet begins at 4:00 with the Freshman/Sophomore races, move on to the varsity races around 4:40 and then finally on to the open races.  The premier race for Coronado should be the Freshmen/Soph (girls) race at 4:10 PM.  Coronado has a plethora of talent in this race and is hoping to win.  The boys varsity race should also be intriguing as the Cougars have three top caliber racers in this race.  And finally, keep an eye on Hannah Green in the Varsity girls race.  It should be an exciting meet.

Who:          All members of the cross country team who have nine formal practices by August 28th.

When:        Friday, August 29rd at 4:00 P.M.

Course:      5,000 meters or 5K

Our Camp:  We camp about 100 meters northwest of the finish line or 80 meters north of the pavillions.

Transportation:  Three buses will leave Coronado High School at 1:30 PM (be at Coronado by 1:15) and return around somewhere around 9:30 PM. 

What to Bring:  Water, sunscreen, insect repellant, warm-ups, rain gear and your racing gear.  We will also stop for a bite to eat on the way home, so it's advise that you bring $5 - $7 for some food.
