This is the
oldest running invitational in Colorado Springs; hosted
by Wasson High School and held at Palmer Park (Maizeland
side). This is a lower key competition and Coronado
will run it's JV
runners in the varsity race. The normal varsity
squad is scheduled to travel to Denver (Friday) to run in the
Dave Sanders Invitational at Columbine High School.
The Palmer Park course is sandy and hilly, which is
perfectly suited for the Cougars who train on this type
of terrain nearly every day. Once again, there will be
a "one way" bus to this competition. The
bus will leave Coronado a little before 2:00.
Athletes will need to find a way to get home.
