Due to schedule conflicts, our tradition trek to Blue
Mountain Ranch will not take place this summer.
Instead, we will be heading to a very nice alternative,
Camp Elim. The
cost of this year's trip is up just slightly, but we
anticipate the that the amenities might be a tad bit
more upscale.
When:
August 6th to August 8th
Departure:
Thursday morning, 10:00 A.M. from Coronado High School
(arrive at Coronado around 9:30)
Return:
Between 2:00 P.M. and 2:30 P.M. on Saturday afternoon
Cost:
$75 (covers food, lodging, activity, etc.)*
* contact coach Hugill if you'd like to attend but
the cost is not within your means.
This camp is a great way to get a jump on the season.
It introduces the student-athlete to the types of
workouts that they will experience during the season and
give them an opportunity to get a jump on their
training. The camp also provides an opportunity
for the athletes (and coaches) to get to know each other
before the season gets underway. This can be very
helpful to those athletes who have not previously run
Cross Country or Track at Coronado.
